By far one of the most exciting games of the tournament. This game was gritty and exciting and I was yelling for most of that second half. I didn’t really feel the need to do a half-time report on this game because of how well both teams were playing their tactics, and obviously both worked to a certain degree. Something I would like to point out in this game is that both coaches did very well today in setting up their team and making changes to the lineup. Specifically Del Bosque, who made the great changes for a more attack-based team regardless of their position to be counter-attacked. Croatia played some great defense along with some great attacking, but they did not capitalize on their chances. Croatians, I believe that your side deserves to go on to the next round much more than Italy. But results are results, and we shall see who Italy and Spain play in the next round tomorrow.
To be honest, I don’t feel great, so I will update this later. Will do some major writing tomorrow!
